It's Hoosier Hysteria when the Tecumseh High School Marching Braves compete this year.

Director of Bands John Kendall said the show is filled with a lot high energy and is centered around bringing the basketball experience onto the football field.

To help do this, the band unravels a more than 700 pound tarp that looks like a basketball court.

Listeners will hear many familiar pep band tunes that they would hear at a basketball game, such as Sweet Georgia Brown, Ironman, the Brave's War Chant, the Hey Song, Gimme Some Lovin', and more.

"We're just having a lot of fun with it," said Kendall. "The audience loves it. It's high energy all the way through."

The Braves placed fourth at this past Saturday's contest at Central High School.

"We had a good showing," said Kendall. "We are having a lot of fun with the show."

Next, the Braves will compete at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at North Posey High School.
