James E. Pinkston, 76 of Sullivan, and formerly of Ft. Branch, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.  He was born May 14, 1937, in Haubstadt to Ervin and Alma (Dimmett) Pinkston. He was a graduate of Haubstadt High School, Lockyear Business College and attended Brescia College.  He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960.

Jim was a member of the First Christian Church in Sullivan and a lifetime member of the Enon General Baptist Church in Princeton.  He loved to share his beautiful voice with others and is now singing in God’s choir.
