County council meets in special session about GIS aerial mapping plan

Wabash County Board of Commissioners Chairman Rob Dean called a special county council meeting Tuesday afternoon so commissioners could discuss a proposed aerial photographic services contract, updating the county’s GIS mapping which was last done in 2005.

Commissioner Dean told utility, City of Mt. Carmel, E-911, consulting engineers and others attending the session, “We want to research and see what makes best sense for everybody.”
