Two months of planning and preparation was well worth it for the staff at Your Flower Shop, which received the Retail Merchants Committee’s Window of the Month traveling trophy Wednesday afternoon. The red and white Christmas themed window featuring beautifully decorated gift boxes, teddy bears, Christmas trees and a lighted lamp post didn’t exactly come together without a hitch, though: Two days after the window was finish, a fountain managed to soak the display’s floor. Everything had to be dried out and reset. “The fountain didn’t go back in,” smiled store owner Colene White, who admitted she was particularly pleased with the display. “This one I think is cute,” she said.
